Nataliia Sharp, also known as ZO, was born in Kyiv in 1985. She has experienced life in both Ukraine and France. ZO studied folk choreography at the Kyiv College of Culture and Ukrainian language and literature at the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv. She took Vlad Troitskyi’s theatre and cinema acting course at the Kyiv National I. K. Karpenko-Kary Theatre, Cinema and Television University.

At the age of 17, Nataliia joined the Dakh Theatre drama school, where took parts in plays. She later became a cofounder of Dakh Daughters music band, where she performs even nowadays.

She started painting a long time ago. But, as ZO admits, she was glad to have a chance to rest from exhausting concert performances thanks to lockdown with visuals art.

She paints when she feels good or when the surroundings inspire and make her happy. She seeks complete freedom and deviation from instructions, rules or consistent patterns.
